Job Description
Position: School Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Boulder Valley School District, Colorado
Assignment Dates: January 6, 2025 – May 23, 2025
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day
School Assignments: Nederland Elementary, Nederland Middle/High, Emerald, Whittier
Travel Requirement: Winter mountain driving required
Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado State Occupational Therapy License.
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Occupational Therapist Certification.
- Experience in school-based therapy preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation for travel between schools, including winter mountain driving.
Responsibilities:
- Provide school-based occupational therapy services to students across assigned schools.
- Assess and evaluate students to determine needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to promote student success.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Document services provided and maintain compliance with school district and state guidelines.
- Assist in creating a safe and accessible learning environment for students.
Compensation:
Pay is competitive and based on experience and district guidelines.
Note:
This position requires travel between school sites in mountain areas. Applicants should be prepared for winter driving conditions.
